The auditorium is a well-established venue for academic, cultural, and public events, offering a central and easily accessible location within the city. The venue features a main auditorium with tiered seating and an adjacent stage, suitable for keynote lectures, panel discussions, and presentations. Supporting spaces, including foyer areas, accommodate posters, coffee breaks, or informal gatherings. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Please see the Accessibility and Inclusion FAQ if you have more questions about accessibility of the venues.
The Auditório Francisco de Assis benefits from proximity to Porto's main road access routes and is well served by public transport, with several STCP bus lines (wheelchair accessible) stopping directly in front of the venue and Metro Line D within walking distance. It is approximately fifteen minutes by car from Porto Airport and close to local dining and accommodation options.
